Sharon Doviet was born and raised in North Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Sharon is perhaps best known for her decades of anchoring and reporting on the ABC affiliate, WAAY 31, in Huntsville, AL. Her awarding winning work has often focused on helping people including tornado recovery, social problems and equality issues.
She often explains that using her education and tenacity to help people has always been her major motivation. As she says, “I become doggedly determined to win, especially when I see someone being taken advantage of.”
A long-time supporter of north Alabama charities, you can often see her at area fundraisers and celebrations.
Sharon is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and several other legal organizations.
